What are the advantages of lithium iron phosphate batteries and lead-acid batteries from lithium battery manufacturers?

The advantages of lithium iron phosphate batteries:


1. Durability: LiFePO4 battery has strong durability, slow consumption, more than 1000 times of charge and discharge, no memory, and a general life span of 5-8 years.


2. Discharge rate: LiFePO4 battery can be discharged with large current, suitable for solar street lights , electric vehicles, electric bicycles, etc.


2. In terms of volume and quality: lithium batteries are relatively small in size.


3. Battery capacity: Lithium batteries of the same volume have larger capacity than lead-acid batteries. Lead-acid batteries have a capacity of about 20 amps; lithium batteries have a capacity of 8-10 amps.


4. No memory effect: no matter what state the lithium iron phosphate battery is in, it can be used at any time without discharging before charging.

Overview of the advantages of lead-acid batteries:


1. Lead-acid batteries generally have a deep charge and deep discharge within 300 times, have memory, and have a lifespan of about 2 years. And there is liquid in the lead-acid battery. After using for a period of time, if you find that the battery becomes hot or the charging time is shortened, you need to refill.


2. The weight of the general lead-acid battery is 16-30 kg, and the volume is relatively large;


3. The lead content in lead-acid batteries is high. If not handled properly, it will pollute the environment.


4. The nominal voltage of lead-acid batteries is 2.0V, and the voltage of ordinary lead-acid batteries is usually 12V.


Compared with lead-acid batteries, lithium iron phosphate batteries have many advantages:


1. Large capacity. The monomer can be made into 5Ah~1000Ah (1Ah=1000mAh), while the lead-acid battery 2V monomer is usually 100Ah~150Ah, and the change range is small.


2. Light weight. The volume of the lithium iron phosphate battery of the same capacity is 2/3 of the volume of the lead-acid battery, and the weight is 1/3 of the latter.


3. Strong fast charging capability. The starting current of lithium iron phosphate batteries can reach 2C, which can achieve high-rate charging; the current requirements of lead-acid batteries are generally between 0.1C and 0.2C, which cannot achieve fast charging performance.


4. Environmental protection. Lead-acid batteries contain a large amount of heavy metals - lead, which produces waste liquid, while lithium iron phosphate batteries do not contain any heavy metals and are pollution-free during production and use.


5. High cost performance. Although lead-acid batteries are cheaper than lithium iron phosphate batteries because of their cheap materials, they are not as economical as lithium iron phosphate batteries in terms of service life and routine maintenance. The practical application results show that the cost performance of lithium iron phosphate batteries is more than 4 times that of lead-acid batteries.
